I just got Battlefront II but it doesn't work right. In arcade mode, you can set the number of ships that need to be eliminated to win the round. If I set it at 50, it's impossible to win. After about a dozen ships or so, no more ships appear for me to fight. Then, the timer just runs out and says I lose. I found that I have to set it to 10 ships to be able to end the round with a win.
Any ideas ?
How many times have you tried this and gotten the same result?
it seems to be every single time. I asked about this somewhere else and it appears that it's a game bug that will never be fixed as the game doesn't get updates anymore...which is odd, as the game is only 5 years old.

5 years for a video game is a long time. I'm not used to seeing active updates for games over 3 years old. Maybe that's just my experience.
At least battlefront II isn't an online only game. I remember a few years ago that I bought a game. A few days later, before I even received the game, I read news that the servers that the game ran on were being shut down. I didn't even get the game and I wouldn't be able to use it.

ouch.
I just jumped into arcade, set to 50 and was able to eliminate all 50. The issue is that after about 15 kills, the enemy ships show up at a reduced rate. So, trying to complete with an initial time of 3 minutes is really difficult.
In your case, there is likely an enemy ship out there that still needs to be killed; you just have to find it.
Personally, I would set for 25.
