Can confirm its June 2020 and the issue is still there. I have 13 different USB devices I most definitely will not be unplugging each time I start this game. They will never fix this problem, the only solution is to not give your money to EA.
can also agree, trying to use joy sticks with xpadder but then in turn, my joystick has two inputs! one for conrtroller and one for normal controls! infuriating.
Am I necroing a thread? probably, but this is a pretty annoying issue to have had community managers address, but then completely forget about. I'm not pulling apart racks to unplug physical devices to play this game, I'm simply not going to play.
I didn't even know about this bug, I always plugin controller when playing game which needs controller, usually playing games with Steam Controller and this game doesn't see it.
