Battlefront 2 error code 524
So battlefront 2 is free on epic games, been playing the campaign, now i want to play online, but when I try connecting, error code 524 pops out.
I tried searching for a solution, all pointing out that the problem is because the account is under 13 year old, I'm already 22 and my EA account is the same as mine, I don't know how to fix it
I am having this same problem. I tried using google's public DNS servers and flushing my dns cache. It did not help.
UPDATE: After several different long conversations with EA Support, I was finally able to find someone who discovered the issue was because my account was inactive. I hadn't played any EA games for many years, so my account was disabled for online play. She was able to reactivate my account and now I no longer get the 524 error. If anyone else has the 524 error, and your age isn't restricting you from playing, I recommend contacting support and making sure your account is not disabled, especially if you have not used your account in a long time.
