no response on patch update or any fix. Very frustrating. How can you showcase and enjoy the quality of this title if it looks so crappy?
It’s obviously not their priority and not enough complaining. Big companies only care when many complain like for the loot box *.
To be fair I think Loot boxes are forced on the Dev by the publisher. I don't think the game developers really want to put them in but have to due to contractual reasons. So they'll be made to have it as top priority to "fix" the loot box (gambling based) progression system first.
It's a big shame the game is tarnished by this because it's actually really fun... except due to the progression system being loot box based and there's no microtransactions atm I'm at a huge disadvantage over people that have been playing since launch. I just wish this type of progression system didn't slow down progression to a crawl. Hope they fix it properly and not just fix it for the suits...
On the subject of the OP, I've been playing over the last couple days since getting the game and have noticed the exact same issue. At first I thought my TV or brand new Pro had gone wrong but after checking all settings and fiddling for ages, the cutscenes still look like they are from a bootleg DVD.
And as others have shown, doesn't matter how powerful your console is and whether it's dynamic or native 4k... if the game has an issue with rendering in 4k and HDR then no ammount of grunt under the hood will fix that. DICE and/or Criterion need to get on this asap.
