Battlefront 2 Offline Bug

I logged into Origin. I show as online...I can see my online friends, etc. I logged into Battlefront 2 - it says I'm offline. I quit the game, quit the Origin app, restarted the app, verified I was online...restarted the game - same issue.  How can I remedy this?

    Hey @MikeHoncho1138

Can I ask if you've tried any troubleshooting steps so far? I can recommend trying out a few of them:

  • I have a different kind of offline bug.
I try to play offline, but it won't start. It only starts online.
Any ideas, what could be wrong? Did Origin even just shut down the offline mode for real offline use?

Battlefront II doesn't work online like Squadrons does when you install from EPIC as a standard Battlefront II game that links to the EA GAMES desktop app in WIndows 11.

To make it work, I looked in two folders and found all *.exe files in the search.

    C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts
    D:\epic_games\STAR WARS Battlefront II

*note: in the second folder choose where your epic install put battlefront ii, I had in on my second nvme drive, D: you might have it on C: elsewhere. You can choose:
    MANAGE->VIEW PROPERTIES
in the EA APP to do this on the BATTLEFRONT II page...

Then I dragged them into the incoming rules and outgoing rules of Firewall App Blocker 1.9 by Sordum.

    FIREWALL APP BLOCKER 1.9

Each time I did this per folder I then just made sure they were all selected, left click and drag and select them all...

    or...

left click the first file in the folder in the firewall app blocker and then hold the shift key down and select the last file listed in the files you dropped in.

then right click inside any of them and choose ALLOW. This allows them through the firewall.

Voila, even with the game still running when I did this, I looked on the top left side of the screen and click GO ONLINE and it showed the game servers.
