Fixed the problem no thanks to the people here, apparently if you turn on "Share usage data" in the EA account settings, it will give you MASSIVE network lag, so turn it off.
In my case I am getting the 201 error constantly. If I am lucky I can finish a game, but out of the 9 games I played today I only managed to finish 2 since I joined in late for those two specific. Just before I am kicked out of the game, and I get the error message, I get a massive lag spike and are forced into first person mode and then after 10 seconds kicked out of the game. Before the patch this was never the case. It could be a problem on my side so I will try to format my computer and reinstall the game to see if it makes any difference. I already tried various suggestions, but with no luck so I am turning to my last resort xD
Well, my reports of lag-free gaming were premature.
I only get lag-free games at like midnight to 2am pacific time. During the day it's not quite as bad as before, but it's still definitely terrible.
And now also I'm not getting kills counted toward the NT-242 upgrade achievements, so, yay.

I played the BETA, ran fine... Tried a trail through their subscription service, ran fine. Decided to buy the game as The Last Jedi Event kicked off...RUNS AWFULLY.
I don't know if anyone else is experiencing this but lag/stuttering happens on the games menus, the single player and the multiplayer. Literally every element of the game is effected by this stuttering and lag.
