Sorry, no. That's not the problem.
Ansel is a brand new feature for nVidia users. I mean brand new, as in just available in the last few days. This is a thing that's been going on since the game's release.
- Anonymous7 years agoThe lag is not limited to PCs.

Yeah, that too.
- 7 years agoThat's odd because it fixed my problem and said it was on my pc for about a month now..
- Anonymous7 years agoYet the lag problem exists on other platforms. I'm glad your problem is fixed, but apparently there are many causes for the widespread lag issue in this game. The PC solution you seem to have found is not applicable to console platforms. Just saying.
- 7 years agoWell I meant it for pc only because I choose a random person to respond to since I was in a hurry. Sorry
- Anonymous7 years agoNo worries, Snoop. I'm glad you found a fix. Maybe it's something similar with consoles, but there are so many variables in this thread it's hard for me to believe it's just one thing.. unfortunately.
- 7 years agoYeah but stuff like disabling ea options doesn't help either I'm sure that is on console to but doesn't stop lag

I had the same problem after upgrading that one to a GTX 1080, long before Ansel came along. And I have the same problem on my current workstation, with a GTX 1080Ti, now that Ansel is here.
You'll likely find the same issue comes back... eventually.
- Anonymous7 years agoI don't know. My suspicion is that because EA doesn't respond with an end user fix, it's a problem with their servers or software and different causes for each platform.

It came up as a solution the other day to a microstuttering and lag issue that was cropping up in another game that I play from time to time. Some players were experiencing a combination of low ping and also inexplicable game mechanics: a player might receive incoming fire, see the shells splash all around, yet have them recorded as hits. Or they might see their shots impact the target and explode... yet not receive credit for hits. Additionally, there were some rubber-banding problems and other stuff going on. Those seem to have cleared up once windows was set to look at a different time sync server.
Check and see what time server your computer is syncing with. Make sure that you're synchronized with one of the servers that has NIST in the address.
No idea if it will actually help or not here, but it did seem to make a difference in the other game.
- Anonymous7 years agoAgain, I'm on XBox.

Again, I'm on XBox.Yes, I get that. For obvious reasons I'm not specifically suggesting that you try the above.
On the other hand, it's possible that you have a similar setting in XBox, but I wouldn't know, since I don't have one.
- 7 years agoYeah but I don't think so, my dad could of done something else to stop the lag to since he works on computers and coding at his work, he did something that I don't know what to do 😅 other than that I won't be having the problem 😃

- Anonymous7 years agoGood humor. 😂
- Major-Band1t7 years agoHeroI see it as a likely internet connection issue. Sometimes a reboot of the modem and router sets me back on course.
