Fixed the problem no thanks to the people here, apparently if you turn on "Share usage data" in the EA account settings, it will give you MASSIVE network lag, so turn it off.

That's great, and I'm happy for ya, but I had the same problem using my old workstation with an ATI RX480 card. I had the same problem after upgrading that one to a GTX 1080, long before Ansel came along. And I have the same problem on my current workstation, with a GTX 1080Ti, now that Ansel is here.
You'll likely find the same issue comes back... eventually.
