Battlefront 2 won't launch
My Battlefront 2 game for PC (Steam) just randomly stopped launching today for no reason. I haven't installed any new apps or changed any settings on my computer. It just suddenly won't launch the game anymore, and there is no error message saying why. It doesn't matter whether I try to run the game from EA app or Steam - neither of them do anything. Literally nothing happens.
I have reinstalled the game through steam. I have reinstalled the EA app. Nothing is making the game work. Is there any way to make the game work or should I just request a refund from Steam? Based on the fact that the developers weren't aware that error messages might be helpful during crashes, I doubt it ... but is there any way to run this game in some sort of debug mode where I might be able to figure out what's going on?
Hi @littlekrang Are you getting an error message when you attempt to launch, or does the game appear in the task manager at all?
If not can we start with trying the following steps?
- Run the System File Checker tool then Check for Windows and GPU updates
- Guide for Troubleshooting Graphics issues
- Check for other applications that may be limiting EA App or Game performance
