Battlefront 2 won't work - issue persists for years

I used to play this game a lot in 2017-2019. Took a break and wanted to play again, probably around 2022. And 2023. And 2024. I can't do that. The game is broken and it feels that it is assigned to my account, as I have reinstalled entire Windows like twice or thrice and even changed my hardware once. Everytime the game is broken. The cursor does not select anything (like window for example) what it is supposed to, so I cannot select anything what I want/need. The cursor also diappears when I for example, somehow, go into settings. After it disappeares, it's hard-stuck at the bottom right corner game option and I cannot select anything. When I click ESC on my keyboard, I cannot leave the game because I can't select anything because there is no cursor. So I have to ALT+F4. The game opens as I am logged off (you have to be online to play, duh, but I cant) but I can't login anyway. Also the game starts in HDR setting which makes everything very "grayish" and ugly, as I don't use HDR on my monitor and yeah, I can't change it in the game... I tried repairing the game several times but each time did nothing. Help.
