Battlefront 2017 Hero Blasters Won't Fire

No matter if it is single player or multiuplayer my blaster heroes won't shoot unless I squeeze the controller trigger really hard. And yet, lightsabers and ship firing is normal...  What's the deal, and how do I fix it???? I already did a repair of the game.
