@Player55 I wouldn't be surprised if it is in the works. Battlefront 2 sold a lot of copies despite the launch fiasco. The overwhelmingly positive response to DICE's support of the game and the added content seems to have successfully changed people's outlook of the series and renewed hope for a Battlefront 3.
Add to that the success of Mandalorian, Clone Wars Season 7, and recent announcements? SW hype is as high as I've ever seen it. Even EA can't pass this up! lol

@ArchAngeL-PCX , I just hope it won't be cancelled like Free Radical's Battlefront III if the contract won't be renewed in 2023!
- @Player55 True. With the recent news of Ubisoft doing an open world game, that exclusive contract doesn't appear to be happening anyway. I can see them wanting EA to continue Battlefront and Jedi Fallen Order though.
What's more to add from me is that they can do the following: separate DICE into two teams: one that will continue to deliver Battlefront II updates while an another team develops Battlefront III!
That way, the community can thrive from Battlefront II for a period of time and when Battlefront III will have some months left for development, then they can regroup to the main team to finish Battlefront III! That will be crazy though but not impossible.
It definitely feels like the perfect time for Battlefront III. With Battlefront II’s redemption arc and the ongoing Star Wars hype from recent shows, there’s a huge demand. Nothing official yet, but it wouldn’t be surprising if EA sees the potential. As always, let’s stay respectful and avoid spreading unconfirmed info as fact.
