BF2 causes static on screen w/ residual screen tear on monitor until power cycle

On launching Battlefront 2, my entire monitor becomes Static, like an old TV. If I alt + tab out of the game, I am able to occasionally hover over the program on the task bar, and it shows it in wind...

@PicklesAreFruit that is normally related to GPU Driver or the GPU itself. I assume you don't have another Display port cable?

    @EA_Atic I'm actually using Display to HDMI cable. I'll see if I can grab a new cable after work, and I'll post an update

      @EA_Atic I do not have an extra cable, and Walmart doesn't carry them. Any suggestions? This is the only program that does this

        Is it a new or old HDMi cable? At that resolution I would suggest Display port cables. 

        You could you try rollback to earlier drivers and see if that helps. @PicklesAreFruit
