Black screen when changed monitor 1080p to 1440p

just upgraded my monitor from 1080p to 1440p (LG GL850) When I first loaded the game it initially looked ok and could navigate the pre game screens,  but as soon as I went into the first game the sc...

    ok fixed now

    upgraded drivers 432.00 to  446.14

Yep. Once driver was updated it fixed the problem. 

But the old driver was fine as bf5 was working no issue with it. 

I think updating the driver somehow changed the settings so 1440p stayed locked in battlefront. If that makes sense.
