For 2 years this games been cancelled, For a battlefield game that flopped. Us as a community can surely make enough noise to get this game back on track. Do a battle pass if they have to whatever it takes to get some content.

@Chaddesden EA & DICE called “end of life” on this game just over a year ago, I believe.
Yeah, DICE went on to the Battlefield project which has had, questionable, critiques since launch.
When it comes to a game like Star Wars the publishers & developers have to be mindful of licensing and certain rights and permissions that they have when they produce & support the game.
I do not know whether or not EA or DICE have had any restrictions on further modification of BF2; one would think not since there was a recent PC quick fix so that would indicate EA & DICE still “could” double back and tweak BF 2 if they wanted to.
Since Battelfield is post release it will be interesting to see what, if anything EA & DICE choose to do here: will they stay quiet with the garbage state they left the game in and leave it as an after thought or does EA see any value in the PR optics of coming back and fixing the mess the left?
Personally, I’d bet money they just leave it but, ya never know, maybe someone at EA or DICE will wake up with some sense and realize they have an opportunity for positive PR here.
