BSOD after launching game: "Video Scheduler Internal Error"

Every time I launch the game, through Origin or using the .exe, the game window opens but the PC blue-screens immediately after.

The only error message provided is "Video Scheduler Internal Error".

Extensive searching online has provided me with following solutions, all of which I have tried but none has worked:

  • Repairing the game through Origin;
  • Reinstalling the game;
  • Installing the game on a different drive;
  • Update video card drivers;
  • Reinstall video card drivers;
  • Reset Windows to factory settings;
  • Reinstall Windows 10 (including all programs and drivers);

There was one other answers.ea post with the exact same error, but no other solution was given there.

One person said that disabling Discord overlay could fix it, but after disabling every overlay I have (Discord, Origin, GeForce)

I am still stuck with this issue.

Included file is my DxDiag in case anyone should need it. I also have the crash dump file but this website wouldn't let me upload it.

    Hey @FlapperSaas  thanks for the details! 

    For the error: Video Scheduler Internal Error 

    This error is related to issues with the computers video card, do you have enough power in the PC and is the GPU over clocked?

    @ganbaa_elmer I'm having this error as well. It's ONLY battlefront 2. Not Apex, R6 Siege, or any other game. Still does it after the latest update. I'm up to date on both windows and nvidia drivers.

    I have this problem as well, BUT it happens with the game BF4 menu when I alt+tab after I launch a game through origin. I tried to recreate the error by alt+tabbing when playing in game but it seems the error is gone. So my guess is that it has something to do with the menu of BF4 (BF1 and BFV doesnt have this problem, havent tried out the other games yet).

    If you have any issues with SWBF2, please make a new topic about your problems and what kind of steps you have tried to solve them.
