Can i play co-op with only 2 players...?

Hi guys,

So since the news that co-op/pve was coming to Battlefront 2 my freind and i got pretty exited and bought the game on sale recently...

However it seems like as far as we can tell the co-op is 4 players no matter what, we could not figure out how to just make it the 2 of us...

Basically we dont have any other freinds that play Battlefront 2 and we really dont want to have to play with randoms...

Please tell me there is a way to play co-op with only 2 players - its the entire reason we both bought the game...and most other 4-player co-op games let you play with 'up to 4' players. not force you into it whether you want it or not...heck most let you play solo if you want too...
