Can't Shoot or Sprint in Battlefront II (PC)

This issue started yesterday (12/11/2017) and I have not had this issue before since I purchased the game on the weekend of its release and played the game everyday since. I use a keyboard and mouse and pressing the Left Mouse Button does not fire (with troopers or heroes), but the Right Mouse Button does zoom. I have tried making the shooting button the RMB, but this did not change anything, I even tried a keyboard key and still does nothing. The weird thing is that if I push the RMD or press the roll button, after the animation, the weapon will fire a single bolt, no automatic firing. All powers and abilities work. No other game seems to have this problem, I tried Battlefield 1 and the LMB worked, so this problem is only affecting Battlefront II.

Help would be appreciated.
