Cheaters in Battlefront II

Round 2.

Cheaters are running rampant in Battlefront II.

In populated maps, I can come across 2 to 3 blatant cheaters running around aimbotting everyone. Some of them, like the one I saw yesterday, was using a damage booster. One bullet meant one kill for them. In total, I came across roughly 5 to 7 cheaters in one day, with 4 of them not even trying to hide it.

1. What is EA doing to ban the cheaters in game?

2. Does EA have anything at all to prevent cheating in the first place, or is everyone freely allowed to use cheats in game and get away with it?

3. How does EA plan to do better in the future, both in the current game and in their future games?

4. Does EA offer refunds to those that have to put up with rampant cheating if they are unsatisfied?

5. Does EA do anything about cheaters when someone is reported in game? If so, is it based on the number of reports, or is it based on evidence and facts?

@KnivesID There’s a combination of both cheaters and explorers killing BF2.

Everything from map glitches to near invincibility glitches, character dup glitches; the cheating is constant. Then you get exploiters who crutch on taking advantage of the games bad code.

The Devs didn’t seem to care before they pulled the plug. They never really listened to the players; we never asked for half of the nonsense that was added to the game.

  • They do nothing. EA got the money for the game, now dont care. end of.

What needs to happen... if caught cheating 3 times - banned for 6months. An IP address ban not a player ban.

Because of all the cheating i wont be buying BF3 if it comes out. I know alot of people feel the same way!

Love to hear an EA response though.
