Connecting to Star Wars Battlefront 2 is becoming a BIG Server Problem!!!
22 May, 2018 --- I was playing ok but then all of a sudden weird things started to happen. I was playing Heros vs Villains and everything went fine until I wanted to play another part of the game. I quit the current game and then a black screen with the loading symbol in the corner. It just stays like that. I exited to the Xbox desktop and quit the game and relaunched it. It worked but that's not the end of it. I got in the game only to find out I couldn't play it because wasn't connected to an EA server. At first I got error code 770 and then after rebooting my Xbox and still not being able to play I got error code 721. On http://downdetector.com/status/star-wars-battlefront it reads that something is wrong with your servers. On https://istheservicedown.com/problems/star-wars-battlefront it reads the same thing. Both sites give accurate time lines. Can someone please fix the issue? I can't play my $100 game because of these errors. Before someone tries to tell me it's me.....My other games work perfectly fine with no issues online. I have about 80 games. Process of Elimination. If everything or every game works but that one game it's not my XBox or my router or my Wi-Fi or any settings. It worked yesterday and last week but today it doesn't work. Why? I did not change anything on my part. Please fix this so I can go from Galactic Assault to Heros VS Villains without exiting the whole game and relaunching it.
I'm assuming my XBox One S uses IPv4 & IPv6. I'm guessing it uses whichever one is faster for whatever is needed. NAT Type: Open. My computer uses IPv6 also. I just played Arcade and I was able to back out of it without quitting the whole game and relaunching the game. I completed the challenge "Save Our Skins". It looks like your servers are looking better from what I can see on the game server monitoring sites. https://istheservicedown.com/problems/star-wars-battlefront or http://downdetector.com/status/star-wars-battlefront are the ones I monitor. Like I said out of my 80 games how can just 1 game have issues and you think it's me? If all 79 work online then it's not me or my Xbox. Process of Elimination. Think About It. Anyway it works for now. The servers have calmed down. You should really check out the sites. You can see when the servers have issues. The bars go crazy and we can't connect.
