Same problem here.
It start only today.
Game just freez in battle and after this shut down without error.
Intel i7-7700HQ
32 Gb ram
GTX 1070 - 8Gb (drivers up to date)
SDD 512 (game here)
Windows 10 x64 Home.
Nothing changed ☹️ Can't play whole match, as after random number od deaths it crashes ☹️
- Hey @UmeshSkywalker @Esgaledel, @Nate55B. A thought. Normally when the computer application crashes it sends a message, error code, or something. Anything like this happen or did it just stop working and then you were at the desktop?
Thinking about how the BF2 might be expecting to have enough of some memory or IRQ and not finding what it wants, IE video card.
Have you checked the log to determine what reason the game shutdown?
regards. I am NOT an EA employee, I am just a simple gamer like most everyone else here volunteering my helpI can check logs if I knew where they are. For now I've disabled directX 12 and since then no crash - 1,5 hour play. So maybe here is the problem.
After the lastest patch the game randomly freezes forcing me to restart the whole PC.
I cannot close it and get back to windows, PC becomes unresponsive.
Issue was not happening before the patch.
