That person didn't get 2 daily crates on 1 day, but played the game for 2 days and didn't open the crates, @Centennialpigon
So for example, you can open the game on day 1, you get a crate (but you don't open it). Then on the second day, you get another crate, so now there are two. This way you can have up to hundreds of crates in your menu. But I wouldn't advice to save them up, because opening 100 crates by watching that animation 100 time is really boring and takes a lot of time.
I have more then 200 crates, don't think I'll ever open them
