Darth vader’s card bug

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Sony Playstation 4
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug I wanted to test the Darth Vader card called "feed the rage" in Arcade mode, a card that reloads the "Focused Rage" ability partially for each kill while it is active, but I have noticed that if the recharge exceeds duration, the ability ends. For example, if the card increases the duration by 25% and kills an enemy immediately after activation. Video demonstration: https://youtu.be/K9hifpBT8rY , look at the ability duration and how the last kill resets it.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Roobyo
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 01/16/2018
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM)
In what game mode did the bug occur? Arcade Mode
What is your time zone? GMT (UTC)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play as Vader with “feed anger” card on Arcade mode (didn’t test it online, not sure), be sure to be near an enemy, activate “Focused Rage” and kill him fast.
What happens when the bug occurs? Ability resets.
What do you expect to see? It shouldn’t happen, right?

Summarize your bug Always when I play with Vader and he's set with the card called "Fueling the Rage" to prolonge the Focused Rage the ability turns itself off after first kill while Focused Rage is active. But when I change this card for other one glitch disappears. What to do?

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Try to play with Vader with the card Fueling the Rage and you will see what happens with the ability Fueling the Rage
What happens when the bug occurs? By me it looks like that: I'm choosing Vader, then the card "Fueling the Rage" and begin the game. While playing I'm activating his ability Focused Rage and after first kill when Focused Rage is active it turnes off and I have to wait until it restores itself
What do you expect to see? That Focused Rage works longer with every sucessful kill but instead it turns of after first kill

Summarize your bug Darth Vaders Furious Resilience/Fueling the Rage card combo seems to be bugged, unless this is what its supposed to work like. Two things trigger it. First, when activating Furious Resilience and then killing someone immediately after said activation (or even within a second or two) it goes on cooldown and ceases to work properly. Fueling the Rage doesn't add time or reset time for Furious Resilience, it just puts it on cooldown. If you activate Furious Resilience and wait till the countdown has taken twenty-five percent off the time (Epic Tier Fueling the Rage, tested in arcade) the card works as intended until you run into the second trigger. If you kill too many people too fast Fueling the Rage doesn't add time and puts Furious Reselience on cooldown. It seems to be going on cooldown if you "overflow" the time with too many kills too quickly. It may not be a problem with the combo but just the Fueling the Rage card. It seems to be a risky move to equip/use this card given how it puts Furious Reselience on cooldown if you kill someone too quickly or kill a large group too quickly. If this is working as intended I apologized for assuming it's a bug, but if this is indeed a bug then it makes the Fueling the Rage card a dicey pick because having to time kills to make sure you don't "overflow" the time limit is just frustrating and not worth equipping

  • It's been happening in HvV as well. Fueling the Rage gets completely denied once you kill someone. Instead of extending the timer you lose the ability.

Summarize your bug Darth Vader's "Fueling the Rage" card does not work as intended. It causes Darth Vader's Focus Rage ability to go on cooldown instantly if you get 1 kill in the first seconds of using the ability when it is supposed to extend it.

Thanks for the report! Can confirm we've seen this happen as well and it's being investigated by the Battlefront team. 👍

Summarize your bug Darth Vader’s furlong the rage card doesn’t work. Instead of awarding the player with 25% more rage per kill, it will reset the ability to cool down if there is less than 25% of the meter filled.

Below I submitted a cluo that shows the focus rage ability reset to cool down upon getting a kill upon immediate activation/ or having less than 25% drained. And because there’s less than 25% used, the game can’t give me 25% back so it just resets the ability to cool down.

    Hello everyone!

Please don't panic!!!!! I've merged 4-5 threads into this one, to get all the information in one place!

    Kind regards,

  • About that card they never even tried to fix since launch right? I see.

Too bad Vader already had a HoK card when they created one for each Hero. They could've gotten rid of this card to replace it with a HoK if Vader didn't already have one. This way this card wouldn't ever need to be fixed like they did with most of the cards they discarded when introducing HoKs, like Yoda's increased unleash damage one, Han's Head Games, Phasma's staff strike reducing cooldown one, Kylo's Bloddletting Frenzy and more.

But they probably don't care anyway, as this is a BUG which may see its 2 years anniversary soon. Only 5 months to go.
