try to go to the game properties in origin and register there (- datapath "D:\game\STAR WARS Battlefront II \ moddata") for the place " .. " insert your path to the moddata folder

  you need to download the frosty mod manager and the frosty fix from here https://modding.wiki/en/starwarsbattlefront22017/users , and in the frosty fix you have to select platform as "EA desktop" and then launch the game from inside the original frosty mod manager using the launch button there

@5fugga this is not possible with the new EA app, since they do not allow special characters like " and \. Very frustrating.
