I do target small groups and as I said don't rush into large ones. The A.I aim is perfect and they can have perfect dodging too.
Besides open maps the problem is where the A.I swarms an area including or especially on the last phase areas and they are quite literally aimbots. With a Blaster you can stand back and take them out one at a time (and quite quickly) but with a Jedi you need to defend until you get an opening which makes me think that in some ways Jedi are more support characters as the times I done very well are when backed up by others. This may sound obvious but it makes jedi feel very limited and to some degree weak and not quite so heroic. Just a reminder that I am talking about CO-OP and its still a good mode to level characters.
Actually one Blaster hero I don't do as well with in CO-OP is Boba Fett. He is more difficult to get used to in general and his abilities are ok but his blaster feels weak but mostly It feels like the A.I are always knocking me out of the air even from far. (Just for the record I know its not been a fuel issue lol).
- 6 years ago@Nocturnalnyt I mean...the Jedi were supposed to be peace keepers, not soldiers (can’t remember who in the clone wars said that). If there’s a crowd near an objective use the force (literally) to pull enemies away or push them out from the group, and tackle them from there. Sort of spiral your way inwards. Using repulse or heroic might jump in the center and quickly activate it, then slice the weakest while they’re down, take the strongest when they get back up because then there’s a lot less shooting at you instead of a big reinforcement: don’t aim for the best of them, aim for the weakest so that there are less shooting you overall.

@HCarbonic Thanks for that and I do use the Force where I can. When there are so many enemys like in the cave on Ajan Kloss, heck the whole of that level even Jedi seem like the worst choice Hero. I even do better with the Droids. I guess the point I am trying to make is that for all they are good at, in CO-OP something feels off with how the enemy A.I hammers down on you when you are a Jedi. They really do go Order 66 lol.
- 6 years ago@Nocturnalnyt I find myself playing much more strategically as a saber hero in CO-OP. Tight corridor maps are a much more friendly environment for sabers. As for Ajan Kloss’s final phase in CO-OP, Finn absolutely wrecks just standing in the center of the command post, whereas for Rey I mainly camp the tunnels on the left side (defender’s view) of the map.
