Does your game give you 0.35 seconds to select class/loadout?
In many matches the map loads, I get to the class selection screen and have a fraction of time to select my class, let alone change loadout. I end up loading in as Assault (because for some reason the game doesn't remember what class I play), killing myself then going back to the class screen to pick my class.
Does this happen to you?
This is because your game loaded later than the majority of other players. There is actually a countdown from 30 when enough players are in the match at the beginning, then it forces everyone to start at the same time on first spawn.
However, there is a little window right before spawn where you can press B (or the corresponding "back" function if not on Xbox), then it gets you back to the selection screen.
