Same problem here on Xbox. My Tuned laser for interceptor was downgraded from purple to white. My advanced torpedoes for bomber was taken from purple to blue.

While I find it disturbing that it happened in the first place, I'm hoping they don't do anything to correct it at this point. I was able to spend some time and level them up again myself. Everything is back as it should be for me, if they try to "fix" it, I'm sure it will just make things worse.

I Would not use skill points on any cards yet...
Check your SA star cards. In fact check them all. Some have been modified. Make your claim now before you change any card with a skill point.
If and when they fix the cards, they may reset to what they were supposed to be.
If you spend your point now to get it back where it was, you MAY lose your SP’s and get squat for your efforts. –
Your skill point may be lost if you spend it before the fix.
