Type in "Intel Driver Version xx.xx.15.48" into the search bar and you will come up with other threads on this issue. Read through them, you may find your answer. If not come back here and post mentioning me and I will try to help further & driver updates generally don't mess up things on your PC. A lot of times they enhance your PC. Also Check what Version of directX your running - Press Windows Key + R and type in dxdiag.
I have tried to check out a few facets of my PC and have attached the screenshot below.
First, I read something about either updating my intel graphics card or somehow disabling it for the game to work. I have no idea how I would do this and, additionally, I am unsure why the game would be trying to use some kind of Intel graphics card when as you can see I have a GeForce graphics card and an Alienware computer that was designed and purchased for the purpose of playing available games. My direct X also seems to be up to date (as far as I know? I don't know what the most recent version is?).
Also, in terms of checking to see if my drivers and so on were up to date, I downloaded, installed and used the "Intel Driver and Support Assistant". After browsing my computer, it stated everything was up to date. Thus, if a program designed to do this couldn't figure out that I wasn't up to date, I'm not entirely sure how I am supposed to know.
Is there anything that I can do at this point? Or am I just stuck? My biggest concern is why the game would be trying to use the wrong graphics card (?) or maybe my Dell for some reason doesn't want to engage the GeForce card that cost me God knows how much money...??

So I am trying to take the advice of others in the thread and disable my intel graphics card in order to be able to use the game.
In order to do this they told me that I need to find the "Nvidia control panel" which is located under the main windows control panel. I did find this.
When I double click on the "Nvidia control panel", I get a message which states that I am not currently using a display attached to an NVIDIA GPU. No idea what this means or how to fix it.
It seems that every issue has an additional problem.
I found the control panel for my intel graphics card but nowhere in there is the option to simply turn it off... which makes the whole purpose of a control panel for the intel graphics card kind of useless, no?
Maybe I just need to return this computer because this is absolutely ridiculous.
I think my time with PC gaming has just passed me by... things have gotten so complicated that even installing and using a game is neigh-impossible at this point ☹️

I'm sorry to hear about the experience you've been having with your new PC. From the system info you attached to us it looks like you got yourself a very nice PC setup. I'm not sure what Nvidia graphics card you have because it's located on the next tab in that screenshot you sent us which was unfortunately out of our view. Even though your PC is brand new, they may have been sitting in a warehouse for several months prior to hitting the retail store shelves or shipped out to your home. During that time a new update may have came out for your Nvidia graphics card which need to be updated regularly.
I have the perfect fix for you that won't require too much work from your end. Try downloading the Nvidia GeForce Experience and it will automatically detect the graphics card you have and update it for you. There is even an option to select the game you want to use with your graphics card.

@zaljko1144- Run DXdiag again and click on the display tab. Take a screenshot for me to look at. Also Click on the notification Icon - bottom R/H corner, then click on settings. When that comes up, select display then scroll down until you can see "Advanced display settings". Take a screenshot. Then click on "Display adapter properties for display 1" .Take another screenshot.
Then click on the properties button and yes another screenshot. Post here again. I will check everyday. I want to look at your video configuration. Your Dell PC may have propriety motherboard so I can't get much info about whether it has internal graphics. If you have a manual for your pc, You may be able to give me the model name /brand for the M/board.

@zaljko1144- Hi again. My post before gave you some tasks which are a bit long winded. Forget them and do this. It will give me the information needed. >
Run DXdiag again. When it has done it's thing, click on the "Save all information" button. this creates a dxdiag.txt. Attach that file to your post. That file will give me all the information I need to help you with your problem. Don't be concerned, it does not show any personal information.
I am confident your problem is with a video driver or a configuration conflict. I just want to be sure what graphics your system is actually using.
