Well, here's something different: I received too many credits from a duplicate card! A crate I opened contained only one duplicate card, and it was a common (white) card, worth 200 credits. Somehow I received 400 credits for it. Video evidence is here: https://youtu.be/-hq8QN1Lf38 (I don't recommend watching it unless you need to; I was really slow in evaluating the different cards in this crate.)
The crate was opened on 2018-01-09 at 01:23 AM, US Eastern time.
I had the same thing yesterday. So I used all credits to buy new crates and for some duplicates I had doubled rewards.
While opening creates, I checked everything with my excel (where I have everything noted) and nothing was missing, badly identified as duplicate or missing duplicate credits. Everything was working as it should, except for those doubled credits in few crates.
No change for me. I checked this morning with 2 daily loot crates and one purchased hero crate. All duplicates did not offer any credit.

We're still looking in to your reports about duplicate Star Cards not granting Credits, and we don't want to make any promises until we're completely sure we've isolated and fixed the bug that's causing it. Keep sending through your reports, and we'll keep you updated on our progress.

- I haven't gotten any of my duplicate credits in weeks now it seems to add them up but when transactions done it takes it away at the finish of the transaction.
