4,000 credits... like I care... this is what i make in 6 games or so...
I am sitting over 180k credits and i am stuck in my progression since the last update. I am watching other players who dont have the issue slowly getting their levels higher while i can’t do anything about mines.
This is a complete joke. I have rarely seen in my life a company being that inefficient in fixing critical bugs. Ridiculous.

@DarkKorg So far the only "fix" is completely starting over with a new xbox live and EA account. Yep the audacity is that this is the only solution at present that actually works. Yes completely starting over just with this single effing game. All with a complete and utter lost of almost 90 days playing history, a lost of nearly 90 days of accomplishments, a loss of pretty much 90 days of ranks for everything, a loss opening crates and obtaining star cards and not receiving duplicate credits, well not so much a loss there therefore, a complete and utter loss of all abilities, weapons, cards, ranks, accomplishments, etc, but yet the "duplicate" credit bug no longer exists.
(01/17/2018) So far 21 days in, no issues with the credits, but up to 14 milestones were affected from 01/23/2017 till 02/07/2018 , and all were not redeemable until yesterday except only two now are still not redeemable!
- I would never do that, never, ever. That is just a cazy idea.
I have hundreds and hundreds of hours of gaming on swbf2. If i had to start from scratch, i would just put the game on ebay or in a trash.
There is also absolutely no guarantee that doing what you are saying will prevent it from happening again at some point. I have played that game since the beta and i only had the issue appearing after the last patch. I however still believe it has to do with the number of purple cards you reach... i have quite a lot of purple cards. The issue appeared right after 1- the patch 2- the sameday i also updated a card to purple for darth maul...

I would be willing to wager that this bug starts when you either:
1. Craft a star card from scratch with credits
or
2. Upgrade a star card with credits
I have done neither so far and I do not have any issues with getting my credits for duplicates (I am level 29).
Is anyone getting credits for only some dupes (i.e. credits for dupes of Heavy cards, but not for Assault cards)? If the cards are stored separately for each class, I could see one getting bugged, but others still working.
- Neither of those matter. I was rank 50 3 weeks after launch, crafted the last 8 star cards I was missing, opened numerous crates (had 47 epics when the bug hit me 3 weeks ago)... and recieved dupes of dupes of dupes in crates.
Im now sitting at 54 epics. Nearly tripled my progression time. And when it started every duplicate has been bugged. @dr134 I went back and watched my videos again to see if maybe it was from cards I upgraded. Unfortunately I upgraded so many, I am not sure which I never touched. Maybe this is something that @EA_David can get that information tot he Dev. Team as a maybe? I know we are all racking our brains to figure it out.
I re-watched all the videos I created and I have the following data from them.

The following cards show a credit amount when the item is flipped over when opening the crate. But then it disappears once the "B" button is clicked and you exit the opened crate.

Another oddity happened when I opened the Celebration Crate. Within that crate, the parts didn't show when the card was flipped, but did show when the "B" button was pressed while exciting the open crate.A video opening 80k worth of credits (many examples🙂 - ****** ALSO WITHIN THIS VIDEO - It shows an emote that I had already unlocked "Faceplam" as a "NEW" reward and wasn't counted as a duplicate. This has happened several times before when I opened a crate, but this is the only example. Check the video at 6:16 to view this happening.

Paodok- ApprovedThis is total conjecture and is probably totally wrong, but maybe this is happening:
1. You craft a star card from scratch with credits. This card is added to your collection. You continue to get credits for duplicates as normal.
2. Days, weeks, or months later (depending on the RNG gods) you get a duplicate of the card you created from scratch. Because it is the first time you have received it in a crate, due to a bug, it is also added to your collection erroneously.
3. Now your collection is bugged, and you no longer get credits for duplicates. Instead, they continue to be added to your collection.
This would account for why it seems almost random when it starts, and why some people who have created cards from scratch have the bug while others do not.
If anyone is reading this thread and has the bug without crafting a star card from scratch, chime in. I would be curious to know. - Approved

I have this problem and actually didn't know I could create my own Star Card for events and or for myself until I read this post.
Long story short, I don't fit your hypothesis.

Summarize your bug after your patch 1.2 today I am still not receiving my duplicate credits. this has been going on for me now since before the new year. as someone how buys multiple hero crates a day, as well as loggin hundreds of hours in this game i have now missed out on hundreds of thousands of credits (minimum of 120k credits missing so far, I've done the math) i should have received. please notify me of when you will rectify this as you clearly stated it was a fixed bug in todays patch notes. - DARTH TORTUGAS

Just logged in after update to spend the 98,000 credits I saved up so I could maximize my crates. I also wanted to experience what it's like to get credits back for duplicates for the first time ever after playing this game for almost 300 hours. I opened crates one card at a time and it registered at first, but quickly took my credits back once I backed out of the opened crate display. No fix for me either it seems and I definitely didn't get reimbursed either, as I would notice the how ever many hundred thousands of credits I have missed out on.
