You could even make the first play through serve as a basic tutorial/campaign were you star of as a trooper under orders of another commander. And once you finish that, then you can go and become a commander of a ship. If this modes in it, than stuff a big canon campaign in my opinion. All attention towards this. Make online come last. Online play can still happen within those maps. And seriously, you don't need to make graphics better if it compromises gameplay and AI, if that's the case, make it worse.
