EA what are/were you thinking!?! Player base is up by 3 Mil!

Reality check people.

It's only up 3 million because it's free!

EA didn't make a dime from those 3 million, so why should they shell out their own money to make more content?

As much as I'd like more content, EA is a business not a charity.

@Kanrei13 Yes, it's a business, but stupid not to monetize 10-30% of those new players with new pay-for content. Your thinking on this matter is myopic.

EA gave it for free, of course playerbase is up because of that. Yes and EA already knew that, they gave it for free to get playerbase up before finally ending support completely, what are you thinking of yourself? Maybe they got something else in their mind not monetizing game which is already monetized enough and preparing for more monetized games in the future.
