Emperor Palpatine's enemy troop's death animation.

Product: Star Wars Battlefront II
Platform:Microsoft XBOX One
What is your issue related to? General
Summarize your bug I don't know if this is a bug or just how it is but I was noticing that when I am playing as Emperor Palpatine in custom arcade it seems the enemies that I kill with my lightning strikes don't have that cool electrocuted death animation when they get killed. They just seem to fall over like if they have been shot. But in the multiplayer it's fine. This is just a little minor thing that could be fixed.
What is your gamertag/PSN ID/EA Account name? Chocolate31506
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? 9-13-18
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) 4;00
In what game mode did the bug occur? Arcade Mode
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? If you play as emperor palpatine in custom arcade when you defeat an enemy trooper with your lightning strikes the animation when they die.
What happens when the bug occurs? The enemy troops you kill with Emperor Palpatine's lightning strikes don't have that cool electrocuted death animation when they shiver all over and fall down like in multiplayer.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see the same animation as in multiplayer when Emperor Palpatine kills enemy troops with his lightning. The animation should be them shivering all over and falling over like in Battlefront 1 and in Battlefront 2's multiplayer.

  • Same on PC. I have just confirmed it.

Perhaps, there is some fail flags... ☹️

    Hey @Chocolate31506

I'm sorry, I just noticed that you put a proper bug report here and I've already replied to your other thread on that matter 😞 I double checked and while the lightning animation is still there in arcade, I can confirm that the convulsions are missing - at least when you're using his basic attack.

Thanks for posting it and apologies for the confusion earlier. We'll look into it 🙂
