@EA_Ataashi- Please turn off Matchmaking until it can be tweaked a bit more to get it right. I just finished playing Jakkuu on GA for 4 rounds in a row. The games were not balanced with matches still tending to be one sided. I agree with others that it is slowing the gameplay down having to wait for the matchmaking to do it's thing before finding another map. Goes from full lobbies to half full lobbies then slowly fills them. Map rotation is out the window. The same thing happened yesterday on HvsV. One of my daily challenges was to defeat 10 dark side heroes but through matchmaking I was always allocated to the dark side. Had to play 3 games (2 of them on the same map) before I could start the challenge.
@EA_Ataashi- Just a little more feedback on matchmaking.
My previous post gives most of my concerns but I want to give an example and the flow of last night's games.
To start, I joined a game on Yavin 4 one round light side. The game was unevenly matched with the Dark side winning in a few minutes. Then matchmaking came into effect. Waited for it to find a map ( took a while) then the following sequence started (Note: all maps were 2 rounds - L & D - and were pretty well evenly matched)
Deathstar II - Endor (going well at the moment!!) - Yavin 4 - Endor - Yavin 4 - Endor - Yavin 4 (quit and went to bed).
This is the major problem that I have with the matchmaking (plus the lost game time waiting). If matchmaking is to be continued then please get the developers to fix the map rotation/speed. I understand it may not be a simple task and if it takes time then switch it off until it can be fixed. I can put up with occasional uneven matches if I know I am not going to be stuck on the same 2 maps for the night.
Whilst I am here, I would like to ask other players for advice (I am not the most skilful player) - How can one find a target and kill with one shot (not Vanguard) whilst running at full speed. It amazes me at the skill of some players!!!

Star Wars Battlefront II EOR Matchmaking Test update.
We are seeing games are fuller, which is something we aimed to achieve. We have plans for tweaks with the goal of reducing the time to Matchmake.
We've got some back-end changes going live this morning in Star Wars Battlefront II which should improve the EOR MM experience. There will be no downtime required for thisWe're making some changes to the map rotation in Star Wars Battlefront II and will be reverting back to the full rotation now that some of our tests have concluded. This change are now live

@EA_Atic: HI
Glad to see your going to fix the map rotation but am I imagining a glitch with the matchmaking helping to ensure fuller lobbies. By this, I mean, is matchmaking removing players from one game lobby to fill another game lobby? For example: Yesterday afternoon, I was playing matches with a lobby around 32 players. when the match finished, MM searched for another map and when found, the game could not start because there were only 2 players in the lobby which did not fill. Had to quit and find another game which took about 10 mins. Again, last night I was playing in a match with full complement (40) of players. When game ended and matchmaking finished, I found myself in a lobby with 14 Players. Had to quit because it showed no sign of filling and took 15 mins to get another game. Hard to believe 26 players would quit at the same time.

We're currently in the process of rolling out some backend changes to Star Wars Battlefront II.
We saw some big improvements in the 'time to matchmake' from the last deployment we did, and the goal of this one is to improve it further. Please keep the feedback coming.
