Btw how soon EA will fix problem with a code 216? For me this problem started like 10 days ago and nothing helped to solve it. Today some more errors added (like 1608). What's next error EA????

Hello. I'm getting 216 error trying to connect any server(game). I'm using ps4pro.

Workaround for "Error 216"1. Change Ping Point in EA accaunt settongs (in game). In my case it was Ireland (108 ms) or Germany (90ms). I guess game client take by default point with lower ping - some Europe servers for me, cos i'm from Russia.So if I set some USA server, eg Ohio (192ms), I will be able to pass to game lobby with chance about 50%.But this leads to another problem - very low ping, and it is difficult to find not an empty server. The second probably because of ping, or time zone difference.2. Use VPNIn my cast VPN to Germany. This solution is better, because finding a match is not difficult, but ping has grown from ~90 to ~115. Ping is certainly nasty but it's quite comfortable playing.Another drawback of this solution is that most VPNs have traffic limits and / or paid ones.

Well... i've did several things with my router to fix this error. Nothing helped. Even tryed to set MTU(u know smtimes it could be the problem) and still nothing. Btw MTU could be changed at PS4 and y, i've tried. Ofc i restarted ps4 that was one of the 1rst steps. Though not sure i've tried all steps that introduced at the article u've posted. And since u guys stop sevres for maintenance i hope most of errors will go away.

Have you done any basic connectivity troubleshooting steps like restarting your router? 🤔 There's a good article, which might help you here.

Since the maintenance is happening right now, we won't be able to check if anything solves your issue. However, I would be grateful if you could check out the steps after it ends if the problem will still be there.

Many of us had issues ranging from loot box to character XP. 2396 and 1510 error codes yesterday. Screen went blank then kicked out. But after the update, hope it is all back to normal. Normal with issues... My guess is they are trying to reconcile all the accounts that played yesterday and that is what will take so long.. GLHF

Well... Some problems with xp are nerv, i agree. BUT 216 error don't allow play at all. Imho this problem much more important. I just pray they r rather good at their work and they will fix all errors. So i wish them gl))))

And... 216 error repeated. THOUGH 1rst time for ~30 games. But still fail.

Problem is going to be big now. Heroes vs villains like 95% of ur servers have 216 error for me. Try to fix ur error guys( i mean EA programmers cause this error on their side). Ahhh y if it will help for u just for info GA mode like 25% os servers atm have 216 for me.

Error 216 happens on the Australian server
It does not happen on American servers
It happened for the first time
