I can confirm that this happens to other characters as well. Here is a video of me following Kenobi around the map and you can hear some strange noise that follows him until he attacks or gets into a fight.
Also the flametrooper sound seem to happen 1 in 2 blast matches (the maps with flametroopers at least).
Any idea how this happens to the Flame Trooper? Obi-Wan seems to trigger this when his skill is interrupted prior to being released.
I rarely play with him, or in any mode he is present, so I never experienced this BUG before.
The thing with this bug that makes it so hard to recreate, is that I can only hear it when it happens to other players, but not to myself. I've never had the issue with the sound coming from my own character... So testing seems depends on your teammates
Although it is hard to recreate for me in the live environment, I think it is quite doable in a controlled one. If the devs could play a few matches as the FO in blast on crait, I bet they will quickly notice it happening.
But bugs aside, you should really try the flame trooper out, @RogueZeroRendar. In close quarters, the flametrooper feels awesome to play with and can demolish complete teams 🙂
I remember trying him earlier and I liked him a lot. But I almost only play hero modes, and when I do GA I try to get a hero too. The other modes I rarely touch them.
But as in a weird coincidence,
yesterday I managed to record this sound BUG coming from Iden Versio*. It behaved exactly like Obi's one (and I assume it's the same with the Flame Trooper): Wherever she went, I would hear the sound going with her, when she died, the sound stopped completely and didn't restart upon her respawn. I have no idea what triggered the BUG, nor from where the sound originally comes from, but I recorded it and I'll share it here later today.*EDIT: I unfortunately didn't manage to capture it, I was sure I had recorded it, but it seems either I didn't or the clip failed to be recorded. Oh well. But my description is accurate, I remember it clearly. I thought it could have been related to her pulse cannon ability, but she didn't use it before dying while with the bug to see if it cancelled itself (like with Obi's push).
This still is happening quite a lot after the Dooku path (03-02-2019 now).
