FRAME FREEZE ON ORIGINAL PS4

Summarize your bug On STANDARD (non-PRO) ps4 there are often frame-freezes which greatly impair game play -- this happens SPECIALLY when I face an uncommon opponent like hero or re-inforcement categories. This does NOT happen on friend's PS4 PRO (which has very smooth gameplay) -- I have disabled all the special effects and even tried reducing resolution with no success in resolving this issue which DID NOT happen in the Beta. I am not going to upgrade to a PS4 PRO just because of this (which would be ridiculous).

Can you tell us the date (MM/DD/YYYY) that you saw the bug? Every day since launch 11/14/2017
What time did you see the bug? (HH:MM AM/PM) Random but frequent
In what game mode did the bug occur? Galactic Assault
What is your time zone? EST (IET) - GMT - 5:30
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Simply play the game with all standard settings on a ORIGINAL (1st gen) PS4 and you should see the frame freezes happen in various times during the game.
What happens when the bug occurs? The video stutters/freezes for a second which is different from a lag in which all screen effects (not just players) freeze momentarily which is a great disadvantage for those consoles when going against people on the newer more powerful consoles.
What do you expect to see? I expect the gameplay to be fixed to be smooth on standard PS4 like it was on the BETA.

I played the BETA and there was no frame freezing -- now the game frame freezes all the time -- this is shared by all my friends with standard PS4 and no friends with PS4 pro have the issue.
EDIT: the issue is worst on the “temple” levels in galactic assault (with all the greens + rocks) — it is almost to the point of making me want to stop playing altogether.
