I am having frequent crashes to desktop. This is still occurring after the latest patch. Graphics driver is up to date. I probably manage to play 1 or 2 matches before a crash.I have tried running Origin and the game in Administrator mode.I have tried wiping out all possibly related files and repairing the game.I have tried completely uninstalling the game, cleaning all files, then restarting the computer, then reinstalling, then restarting the computer, then running repair on the game (which indicates it needs repair??), then restarting the computer, then playing and now I do not get as many complete crashes of my computer that force it to restart, but instead get quiet crashes to desktop in any game mode and during any part of the game (during match, during awards, during setup).Attached is a dxdiag report for my system configuraiton. My card is a R9 270X. Driver is 17.11.2.This ruins the game for me currently and I am considering asking for a refund.

Hi Everyone,Here I think I finally have killed the crashes. I fully uninstalled the game, as described in my first post.I fully uninstalled my GPU driver, using AMD's clean uninstall utility, restarted the computer, and installed 17.11.2 (for Radeon R9 270x).I restarted the computerI fully installed the game but this time I installed it on my slower (non-SSD) drive! I believe this was the critical change. My GPU sits at nearly 100% and my CPU sits above 80% use while playing for no good reason.

I'm having the exact same issue.Like you said sometimes you can play for longer periods of time, other times it night randomly crash without an error message.Hopefully they are working on it. However, One would like to know if they are aware of the problem.

Sadly the update notes address NOTHING about the issues we are all having. It's been well over a week....we can't post technical problems in the forums, it says to do it here. But who's looking at this?? Who's acknowledging that we are crashing left & right trying to play this game? I'm glad they were able to fix it so tall characters don't get cut off on the end of round awards screen though, that was really bugging me (sarcasm heavily intended). Beyond annoyed.

I played 3 games of Blast, then during the next game, another crash to desktop. The crash involves a small stutter, then the screen freezes while the sound continues for a second, then the game crashes to desktop quietly.

Yep....same. Was fine since first day of pre-release, but over the last three days (including today) it's been happening. Just a quiet little flicker back to the desktop. Pissed....Tired of it.

Guys try turn off OC mode in your GPU settings and turn it on gaming mode ^^ it work for me with gtx 1080ti in Aorus Engine

This is still occurring, but now I can play an average of 2 games before a crash. Sometimes it crashes on startup, and I'm not counting that in this frequency.

I do not have the CPU referenced, nor do I use overclocking. The GPU is set to use application settings. Thus, this is not an acceptable answer.

Game crashed on startup and broke the cloud sync feature this time. I restarted three times and the game is unplayable still. It finally crashed the entire computer in a loud repeating sound glitch and a red screen as was happening before.

Running repair fixed the cloud sync issue, but i am still getting random crashes even in borderless windowed mode. The borderless windowed mode may have reduced the crash frequency a bit.

Unfortunately I think we are going to have to wait for them to find the issue and fix it. I've tried all the stuff found here in the help forums about it....still occurs. I can play for 2 hrs and have nothing bad happen. Then I can crash 3 times back to back just loading the game and trying to get into multiplayer or arcade, crashes before it finishes loading. Or I can be 15 mins into a game and crash to the desktop and lose it all. There seems to be no rhyme or reason. I've crashed to desktop playing campaign, arcade, and multiplayer.

I tried adjusting the "Performance Options" on Windows 10. Changing "Visual Effects" to "Adjust for Best Performance" has changed the nature of the crashes!!
Now, I've crashed at the end of a match and immediately again upon starting my next match, but in both cases, the screen freezes but some sounds continue playing and I have to End Task in Task Manager to get out of the game! I hope someone is actually reading this because it points to some possible relationship between the settings and these crashes.
