Game Crash on Start-Up

Summarize your bug Since the latest update, after a few minutes of gameplay the game crashes. There is no error report, it just closes and returns you to your desktop. Origin is still running though. Happened on multiple game modes.

In what game mode did the bug occur? Capital Supremacy
What is your time zone? ECT - GMT + 1:00
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just play Capital supremacy for a while.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game goes black and closes.
What do you expect to see? A functioning game, that does not close by itself.

Just after the update, on 23 october in the morning,  I went to play the game. It would not connect to any game other than co-op games and even that took a very long time to find a game and connect, severeal minutes. Normally I have no trouble connecting to a game and it usually just takes a couple of seconds.

When I finally was connected to a game, just after a few minutes of game time, the game just abruptly closed itself and returned me to my desktop.

I tried restarting, updating my drivers, etc. but nothing helped.

Later, in the evening, I tried again.

This time I tried ewok hunt once, which worked fine, so I thougt the problem was solved. Sadly I was wrong.

After the ewok game I tried Capital Supremacy: It took a long time to find a game, and again it crashed after a few minutes of gameplay.

I never get an error screen or even a message, the game just abruptly closed. 

This also happens for battlefield V, but not battlefield 4.

Me and many people have this problem but it seems that there is no solution yet or they are not looking for a good solution for it.

Hope they fix it soon because we payed for a product. Please someone from EA do his JOB AND FIX THIS GAME. 

I recently returned to this game after a long hiatus and have thoroughly enjoyed playing it with friends. However since returning I have been plagued by an issue I have been unable to find a solution for despite many hours of searching through forums and help pages.

THE ISSUE:

At a random time interval (from a few minutes to a few hours) of gameplay my game crashes. The video freezes while the background music/ambiance continues to play for several seconds before the game crashes and sends me to the desktop with no error message. This crash is independent of game mode and has occurred in multiplayer and offline play.

As you can imagine this is extremely frustrating and many a campaign mission, coop defense, or supremecy combat has been cut short due to this bug much to the chagrin of my friends who were playing with me. I have attempted the following fixes to no avail.

ATTEMPTED FIXES:

The following attempts have been unsuccessful in effecting the crashes in any way.

1) Clean reinstall of the program, and origin

2) Repair function on program through origin

3) Disabling the Firewall

4) Editing the boot options and other files per this page.

5) Adjusting Dx12 Setting (it was off to begin with)

In lew of this I feel out of options. I desperately want to enjoy this game on PC, I purchased it here for that expressed purpose even after buying the game on Xbox One at launch. Attached are my DxDiag. I would attach my crash reports which I found via the "C:\Users\******\Documents\STAR WARS Battlefront II\CrashDumps" directory but it is "an unsupported file type" being a .MDMP

Hello i had this problem 4 days ago when i bought the game and now i fixed it, there are some people here that had this problem and changing grphic options in the game like dx12, full screen.... they fixed it but wasnt my case. I always play any game with no problem but this had me 2 days desperate so i bought the new modern warfare... XD but before this i give it a last desperate  chance and restore my pc like they do in this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8LgHNRjiekQ 

After this i download both games modern warfare and battlefront. First i play modern warfare and as usual no problem with it and for my surprise i try battklefront and it worked!!!! i have to say that i put the graphics in medium but my pc can easy be in ultra but this is a thing that hapends in modern warfare so i tried in this game also AND WORKED.

So my thing to fix this was restore the pc with that link and try to put graphics a bit lower. hope you can also fix it good luck.
