I haven't been able to try a DX12 fix yet because I don't have a settings folder or its files and I also haven't been able to launch the game yet.
Almost definitely no power issues here - I upgraded my PSU to a 700 watt unit a couple weeks ago. I also have both my Nvidia Global and Application settings set to "Prefer Maximum Performance," i.e., maximum power draw.
The power options things is settings - check the link and text I posted above - regarding the dx12 files try askimg in general in forums, the forums seem pretty active, also maybe make a new topic in answers tech asking for the files for dx12 solution?

So after 16 hours with (largely unhelpful) support, I went and blasted through the 100+ windows updates I didn't take for ages. The one you want is an "optional" update called "Platform Update for Windows." in my case it is for windows 7 and is tagged (KB2670838).
This is a direct X issue. Where 9 was a separate piece of software and updated as such, DX11 and 12 are part of windows so need to go through windows updates. Solved my problem (at my own suggestion to them).
I cannot answer for your DX12 issues but it might stem from the same place.

DToakes, Try this and see if it fixes your problem. I literally only installed the "Platform Update for Windows." out of the 70 updates and it worked. Only took 2 minutes.
No bother, I advised support to add it to thier troubleshooting screening as well so hopefully it wont take ages.

Ridiculous that this is still a problem at all, let alone 3 days after Deluxe Edition early access. If EA doesn't address this by the end of the weekend, I'm just going to have to refund the product. No sense in paying for something I can't use.
This issue has persisted since beta. BF2015 had the same problem. Any word on a fix?
I can attest to this windows platform update WORKS !!!! i had like 120 updates not installled, but i only selected this ONE update..

I am on windows 7 ultra 64bit.
This worked !!!! This is all i did..installed update, rebooted, opened origin..BAM it works.
