I bought Starwars Battlefront 2 at the time it was released and it ran perfectly fine. Its been about a month since I last played it but I just recently decided to start playing it again. I updated the game with out any issues and then I went to launch the game and a black window opened up like normal as if the game was loading up. But then the game crashes and won't finish launching. I've looked up some fixes for similar problems people are having but nothing seems to fix it, if anyone could offer any advice it would be greatly appreciated.
My thread here contains a lot of solutions. None have worked for me, but maybe one will for you.
Thanks for the help, but none of these seem to work either so i'm not sure what else there is to do.
Well, I had this EXACT issue. Launch game - couple of secs - non fullscreen black window appears - another couple of secs - closes to show origin.
However, my fix is only easy to do for windows 10 users. Windows 7 you'd have to do everything manually, or upgrade to 10.

I am able to play the game after doing this with no issues whatsoever.
