Just randomly when playing. it seems to be random.
Had the same issue on Galactic Assault now too.
Friends are reporting issues on HvH too now
Approx 80% of time it will be transition to or from capital ship phase, the other 20 has been random with no noteworthy activity except one time as chewbacca I was savaging a reactor and it got me, seems to happen more often when I'm crushing rather than losing,
This has been happening to me ever since the 10/23/19 update. It happens at least 80% of the time, sometimes as much as 90% of the time. It is very random, but usually seems to happen when the fighting gets hectic and the frame rate dips due to the amount of action occurring on screen. That does not mean it does not happen other times. I've had it crash right when the match loads, whereas other times it occurs at the end of the match.
This makes the game unplayable. I put 20 hours of gameplay in it last week. This week I got maybe 5 hours due to this bug.

According to F8RGE the SWBFII2017 Community Manager, this issue is being worked on. It seems to affect both Xbox and Playstation players. I play on PC and it's not happening to me at all.

They don't have a time for the fix yet but it's their top priority now
