Game did not load after FrostyModManager

So, to briefly summise my issue. I installed the game via Steam a week ago and it played great.

So, as a modder, I looked up some mods for the game.

After installing FrostyModManager and the other bits, I needed to update a system file.

I then got a message saying that mods can't install as my External HDD is exFAT.

I went to launch the game via the default exe and it does it all in Steam/EA app as usual but the game didn't open.

This is odd because the game seems to use a virtual mod loading system, and I've not actually touched anything.

So, I reinstalled EA app, with no change.

So, I've done a system restore to when it worked and am re-installing the game on Steam.

My other game on Steam worked as usual, so it's not a Steam issue.

I notice on my installed apps that I had an install of the game which I couldn't delete, so perhaps it tried to load a shadow if itself.

I tried all the tips, so hopefully it'll work as it did now I'll reinstall.

It would have been nice to have a few small mods, but I'm happy with the PS4 version anyway.

It only cost £4, so it's just the perils of PC modding I suppose.

I was only going to play offline for PC anyway 👍

Indeed it is. You are going to struggle to get support in this forum for any issue involving mods.
