Game do not open after patch 1.2

After several failed attempts to get the game running (Several restarts, Origin and BF2 re-installations, checking everything was updated, clearing caches, the works) I finally got desperate enough and tried a last resort! I did a fresh factory reset of my PC.
After re-installing of my PC I updated my graphics card(GTX1060) and checked for windows updates. Installed Origin. Installed BF2. Restarted the PC...

And nothing. 

Clik play. Origin tab closes down and reopens a few sec after. Game dont start.

EA seriously messed this one up!!!

So for anyone out there thinking of re-installing anything. Dont bother... Its a waste of time.

I have same problem. Game will not run. I see it in task manager and then it drops out

Same with me  i dowanload the new patch after i start the game would not load

same thing here! but the game is not even on the process. after doing the cloud syncing, it just shows origin again. not even a window opens. was playing yesterday, and after the patch this happened. tried uninstalling origin, installing the game again... but it seems it doesn't fixed.

I woke up this morning looking forward to patch 1.2. Downloaded the update only to not have the game launch and give me a message telling me to update my up-to-date drivers. After trying several of the troubleshooting suggestions in this topic and others, I still can not play the game. Even knowing that is hot fix is in the works would be appreciated.

Geeze, I thought I had it bad. I got 5 crashes last night in 4 hours. Today, after the patch, 3 in 45 minutes! Can't finish 1 match without crashing. It's pretty fun and exciting. I feel for you all.
