for me Grievous' thrust surge just circles around his enemies if they move during his animation
User @Mcenriven (EventHorizonOH on the main forum) posted a video about Grievous Thrust Surge hitting from afar in the main forum. Despite this time grievous locked on the target he hits, but the target is far away. In the video I posted before, he didn't lock onto me but hit me anyways and I was several feet behind his thrust surge target.

Each report should be about one type of BUG. The one we're reporting here is thrust surge hitting people far from Grievous, which makes no sense as it's a lightsaber attack, so it should connect to the target to deal damage. The spin and no hit BUG is another one.
