@ArchAngeL-PCXPs4 lobbies are full but most of them are sweats with 100ss on moss op weapons aka hellriegel pc player base is larger and y’all actually get dlc lobbies that are decently active 😔
And get the revolution edition for all dlc as well
@ArchAngeL-PCXAbout hardcamp, the problem in BF3 was also that not only snipers would one-hit, also shotguns (over distances with the right ammo) and certain pistols. I loved that in BF3 everything was possible regarding weapon balance, means that a high rpm doesn't automatically mean unreasonable low damage, high base spread even for the smallest bursts and .44 magnum recoil at once like in BF4 and BF1. Same that not all high dmg weapons were absolutely weird to handle.
In Hardcore mode however this derailed any sort of balance, just use any sniper, shotgun or Magnum/Rex or UMP-45 as example for easy kills.
Far off topic lol
- @soapy_catuses ok thanks. I'll keep an eye out for it.
- WebsterHelios5 years agoRising Ace@AhuronIV BF2 has cheaters but also smurfs (people own more than one copy). I sometimes see high level players get accused of hacking and I just facepalm.
I think there is a lot of smurfing happening because of all the new players. Don't need a second copy if on console, just play on a different or new profile. I'm seeing level 2 or 3 heroes just ripping it up, which leads me to believe they are smurfs.
@WebsterHelios @Appl3Corps Yeah, I'm having this suspicion as well. I realize this when "new" players know exactly when to time their dodges properly to not get hit by saber heroes etc.
It's often just the movement or use of cheese tactics that tells me right away when someone obivously knows how to play the game.
On the other hand, on almost all supremacy matches the last days I ended up on first place and I also encountered a lot of people who behaved noobish in an obvious way. So I guess that smurfs are still a minority, because the lack of the gadgets and star cards of them doesn't really explain for me why I'm jumping so high everytime. Maybe it's because both the smurfs are such a minority on the servers right now, that even when we encounter each other on a skill stalemate, we still make a lot of kills from newbies being fed to us regardless.
I mean I'm pro enough to end up in top 5 quite often, but not that global elite to just get on one first place after another like that with barely any competition whatsoever. It's not like the best of the best can always do that either, simply because of competition of the enemy and own team pros.
Mind that just reaching lvl 25 of each class is enough to upgrade your desired starcards to maximum, something that can be easily grinded by playing Co-op, same for weapon unlocks and upgrades. It won't take a long time until newer players won't have the starcard disadvantage anymore, especially when they play on double and triple XP days.
I think too for smaller modes people will smurf so people don't quit. When you get someone with a hero level 200+ and the other team is all level 5 to 20 they tend to drop out pretty quick.
Battlefront 2 has had cheaters on PC from the start, some extremely obvious and some not so much.I have been away from the game for almost a year but came back over the weekend.
There are some really good players with great skill...but I noticed there are many more cheaters than there used to be. People are using damage modifiers and aimbot. Had a few guys that starts a map on level 0, one shots people with guns that just can't one shot at all and end up with so many kills that by the end of a map(galactic assault) they are on levels in the twenties.
Some High Level Pre-Made Teams hide behind their low level Chars in the Lobby and sometimes during the Match.
They dont want to scare the lowies away because they want to farm them.
They dont cheat, they are just good and organized, sure its unfair against a random Team.
