HDR mode on Xbox X LG C6, gets too dark and washed out.

When starting BF2, the “normal” black screens comes up, the games goes into HDR mode with “HDR” showing in upper right corner.
The games stays nice and bright for a bit while in the menu. But then as you press mutiplayer, and then select galactic assault (of any other mode), the screen darkens (while still on the selection menu) and gets washed out. The screen stays this way, while in match.
After the match is over and you come back into the main selection menu, the screen gets bright again and then the process repeats.
