**HELP** Please with xbox controller & Lobby not loading

I have had so many issues with this game since downloading.  When it works by far one of my top favorite games to play.  But that is if it works.  I have been researching and have tried so many new things to get this game to work.  I just need an explanation even if it is yeah this game is so ify to play.  The issues range from entering and exiting multiple lobbies because there is not enough players.  To using an Xbox controller I have tried everything it feels like.  I have Xbox game pass and got this game for free and I even bought it on steam thinking it might help to use steam input.  I was finally able to get into a lobby tonight however the button control on my controller was all wrong.  Right stick push was enter.  B was what usually is LB and my LB was B.  I do not know what to do anymore I am very close to canceling my game pass sub seems like all the games on their are so mid and gonna stay far far away from any more EA games.  

There has to be some sort of simple fix I am missing.  Please help ☹️
