Hero Hunters on Speeder Bikes on Endor in Galactic Assault

On Endor in Galactic Assault, why can’t you block the speeders bikes fire with lightsabers? I thought you could and I got killed instantly. Also, it didn’t help that the person who was on the speeder...

I definitely liked the speeder mechanization on Battlefront 2015 better.  But then I liked Walker Assault a LOT better than GA.  Couldnt you block speeder blasts in Battlefront 2015?  I seem to remember so.

Once you get used to driving them you become unstoppable, only real counter are the ATSTs.
