How do I change the language of BF2 in the EA app?

Title. I want to install BF2 again but the new app doesn't give me any language choice other than my native language when installing. The problem is that I absolutely hate playing games in my native ...

    You purchase the game for a particular language and that's the option you get when you install.

That's BS, I had the same problem when I bought the game in my country - Poland - and it NOWHERE says that you won't be able to change the language. After a back and forth with support they allowed my account to change the language for whichever I wanted since I bought the game and I should be allowed to play it however I want to.

They really did lift language restriction just for you? What did you write to them?
